Name: "Wimpies" Meat Sauce
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients: 2 onions; 6 Tbsp. butter; 2 c. ketchup; 1/2 c. vinegar; 4 Tbsp. brown sugar; 1 c. water; 1 tsp. salt; 4 Tbsp. mustard; 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce; 2 lb. ground beef

Fry onions in butter.

Add all remaining ingredients except meat.

Simmer 20 minutes.

Brown meat, separately skim off fat. Add to sauce.

Makes 2 quarts.

The longer it cooks, the better it gets.

Great on hot dogs or alone on buns.
