Wild Rice Sausage Dressing

   Prepare the wild rice as directed on the package, adding the butter during preparation. While the rice is cooking, saute the sausage in a skillet, then drain.

   Once the rice and sausage are cooked, mix all ingredients together in large bowl. The heat from the hot sausage and rice will plump up the dried fruit. Serve and enjoy!

   I usually use one package of Jimmy Dean mild and one package of hot sausage. Also, I only use dried cherries, as my family does not like cranberries.
