Walnut Caramel Tart

   Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

   Roll out the dough, spread in pie pan, prick with a fork, and bake for 20 minutes.

   Pour the sugar in a saucepan and add a little bit of water so all the sugar gets wet. Cook without stirring until a golden caramel is obtained.

   Add the walnut kernels and mix.

   Remove from heat, add the cream. The sugar will harden. Return to stove top over low heat, stirring continuously until the sugar melts again. Stir until caramel begins to pull away from the pan and the mixture is smooth.

   Pour the nuts and caramel mixture into the pastry. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
