Marsala or possibly Sherry

1 1/2 pound boneless veal steak
All-purpose flour
Salt and freshly grnd pepper to taste
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced thin
1 clove garlic, chopped
6 to 8 scallions, minced
2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dry basil
1 c. minced, peeled and seeded tomatoes
1/2 c. Marsala or possibly Sherry

Heat oil and butter together in skillet; brown veal on sides.
