Ingredients: 2 1/2 c. all purpose flour; 1 c. sugar; 1 teaspoon salt; 2 teaspoon nutmeg; 2 teaspoon cinnamon; 2 teaspoon soda; 1/2 teaspoon cloves; 1/2 c. shortening; 2 c. strong tea; 1 c. raisins

Pour warm tea over raisins.

Let cold.

Meanwhile sift flour, soda, salt, and spices into mixing bowl.

Cut in shortening with pastry cutter.

Add in tea mix and stir only till moistened.

Pour into greased loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 min.
