Set oven to 180c. Butter a medium-sized brownie tin. Maybe even sprinkle some flour into it - shake - and then discard the excess.

Melt butter in the microwave. Take it out - and add dark chocolate to it and let stand to melt. You can nuke it gently a bit more if it needs more help melting. But be careful the chocolate doesn't get too hot, or it will split.

Mix eggs and sugar, salt and vanilla.

Mix the melted chocolate into the egg mixture.

Mix in the flour and white chocolate chunks /walnuts - but not too well. Like you would with muffins.

Pour into the tin - and bake for 25-30 mins.

No huge worries about making sure it's 'done' - as brownies are supposed to be under-cooked anyway.So just take it out - no skewering necessary.
