Break bread into pieces and place in food processor. Process until fine soft bread crumbs are produced. Place in a large mixing bowl. Add scallions to food processor and process until finely chopped. Add to mixing bowl. Cut tuna steak into several pieces and place in food processor. Process tuna until about the consistency of hamburger. Add to mixing bowl. Add ground black pepper to taste.

Whisk together the mayonnaise, sesame oil and soy sauce. Add about 1/2 cup of the mayonnaise mixture to the large mixing bowl and combine the tuna mixture. Set aside remainder of mayonnaise mixture in a refrigerator. Form the tuna mixture into four equal sized patties and chill in a refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Grill patties on barbeque for about 3-4 minutes per side. Place on hard roll with reserved mayonnaise mixture, lettuce and sliced tomato.
