Teriyaki Chicken Wings

   Remove wing tips from chicken wings; split wings or leave whole.

   Rinse well and drain.

   In a small bowl or glass measuring cup, combine soy sauce, sugar, applesauce and garlic; mix well.

   Place chicken wings in a resealable plastic bag and pour marinade over.

   Place bag in the refrigerator at least 4 hours (can leave overnight), turning bag occasionally so that marinade will coat wings.

   Line a baking sheet (make sure to use one with sides) with foil; spray foil with nonstick cooking spray.

   Remove wings from marinade and discard marinade.

   Place wings on prepared baking sheet.

   Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes, turning the wings over halfway through baking time.

    These can be baked, then transferred to a slow cooker set on Low, which makes them wonderful to serve at parties or take to get-togethers.
