Ingredients: FOR THE POTATOES:; 2 whole Large Sweet Potatoes, Peeled And Cubed; 4 Tablespoons Margarine Or Butter; 2 Tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream; 1/4 cups Maple Syrup; 1/3 cups Brown Sugar; 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon; 1 dash Cloves; FOR THE TOPPING:; 1/2 cups Packed Brown Sugar; 1/2 cups Finely Chopped Pecans; 4 Tablespoons Butter Or Margarine (COLD)

FOR THE POTATOES:
2 whole Large Sweet Potatoes, Peeled And Cubed
4 Tablespoons Margarine Or Butter
2 Tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 cups Maple Syrup
1/3 cups Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
1 dash Cloves
FOR THE TOPPING:
1/2 cups Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 cups Finely Chopped Pecans
4 Tablespoons Butter Or Margarine (COLD)

Peel and cube your sweet potatoes. Place in a stock pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook about 30 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender. Once done, drain and place in a large bowl. Add the butter and whipping cream, then using a potato masher or a fork, mash the potatoes until they are a creamy consistency. Then add in the maple syrup, brown sugar and spices, continue to mash and taste. Add more sweetness if desired. Place in a greased casserole dish and at this point you can either cover and refrigerate it till the next day, or proceed to the topping. To make the topping place the topping ingredients in a small bowl, and using a pastry blender or fork, cut in the butter, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle on top of the casserole, and bake at 350u00b0F for about 30 minutes, until topping is melted and forms a slight crust and casserole is warmed through. Serve warm.
