Ingredients: 1 (14 ounce) can black soybeans, drained; 14-½ cup of your favorite spicy salsa, to taste; 1 teaspoon chopped pickled jalapeno pepper (optional); cayenne, to taste; 1 clove garlic, crushed; 1 tablespoon lime juice; 1 teaspoon soy sauce; 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or 1 tablespoon cilantro, your preference; ¼ cup dry sherry; 3 packets Splenda sugar substitute; cornstarch or arrowroot (small amount of heat-activated thickener) (optional)
