Swedish Meat Balls

   Mix well.

   Shape lightly with your fingers into 1-inch balls. Brown on all sides in a lightly greased skillet.

   Put into a deep pan 2 cups consomme or stock or 1 can consomme and 1/2 can concentrated tomato soup.

   Heat and add meat balls.

   Cover and cook over very low heat 1 1/2 hours.

   Add extra consomme or water from time to time if necessary to keep the meat balls from sticking.
