Sugared Popcorn

   Pop popcorn in 1/4 cup of oil.

   Be careful not to burn.

   When you are through popping corn, pick out all unpopped kernels (this takes a little time, but it's worth it).

   Put corn in a very large pot or bowl.

   In a medium pot, combine water, sugar and 3 or 4 drops of food coloring.

   Boil this until the sugar is dissolved. Add vinegar; cook until it comes to a hard boil (250u00b0).

   Very carefully pour mixture, little by little, over popcorn, stirring often.

   Let cool, then break up.
