"Straight A" Norwegian Apple Kake

   Grease 9-inch spring-form pan and set oven at 350u00b0.

   Combine butter, sugar, eggs, flour and baking powder. Mix with hands to form a ball of dough.

   Dough will be stiff.

   Chill dough about 15 minutes before rolling out.

   Roll chilled dough into a circle large enough to fit the bottom of the spring-form pan and 1/4 up sides of pan.

   (Save remaining dough.)

   Line pan with dough.

   Fill with cooked apples.
