In a medium sized pot over high heat bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Start the saute as soon as pot is placed on the stove.

Once water starts to boil add pasta and cook until tender approximately 8-10 minutes.

Using the width of the blade crush the garlic. Peel and chop into relatively large pieces then toss into frying pan with olive oil, fresh ground black pepper and chili pepper (chili pepper is crushed with hand). Saute on med heat. Roll basil and cut into 1/4 inch slices add to saute. Chop olives and add to pan. Chop and add swiss chard. Lightly saute until swiss chard is done, approximately 3-4 minutes, then add pasta and quickly saute until all ingredients are well mixed, approximately 1 minute.

Add parmesan and serve.
