Spice Cake

   Boil in a large saucepan the margarine, sugar, raisins, water, cinnamon and allspice.

   Let cool to room temperature.

   Stir in sifted flour and baking soda until batter is smooth.

   Add nuts. Bake in a 350u00b0 oven in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan for 45 to 50 minutes, until done.

   Frost as desired.
