“Special K” Cookies

   Melt butter in saucepan. Add sugar and Karo syrup. Mix and bring to a boil for 1 1/2 minutes.

   Remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla, stirring until peanut butter is smooth and completely combined.

   Pour over 6 cups of Special K cereal. Stir gently until cereal is coated.

   Split into serving-sized portions and let cool on wax paper.
