Pour the chopped tomatoes into a saucepan, add 3 cups of water and bring to a boil. Season then stir in the sugar, spaghetti, onions, garlic, 2 tbsp oil, the grated tomatoes and the sun-dried tomatoes. Simmer for 4-5 mins, then mix in the carrots and broccoli and simmer for 8-10 mins, until the spaghetti is cooked through.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a saucepan, add the pine nuts and cook for 2-3 mins until golden. Remove from the pan. Add the pork to the pan and cook over a high heat for 5-6 mins until cooked through. Mix the pork and cherry tomatoes into the spaghetti and continue to cook for 2-3 mins. Fold in the capers and olives. Divide the pasta between 4 bowls then sprinkle with Parmesan. Serve.
