Spaghetti With Broccoli And Spicy Turkey Sausages

   Heat 10 in. skillet to medium/high heat. Crumble sausage and cook till no longer pink and beginning to brown, about 4 minutes. Add 1/2 of rosemary and stir.

   Remove sausage with slotted spoon into small bowl and set aside.

   Drain off fat from skillet but do not scrape out browned bits. Return skillet to heat and add olive oil. Let heat 1 minute. Add garlic, shallot, red pepper flakes and remaining rosemary. Saute about 3 minutes until shallot is tender. Add vermouth and cook until liquid is almost absorbed. Add can of tomatoes and simmer, 3 minutes. Add sugar, red wine vinegar and salt to taste. Cover and simmer over low heat, about 20 minutes.

   Meanwhile, in a heavy pot, boil water for pasta. Once water is boiling, flash cook broccoli, using a slotted spoon or metal strainer with handle to remove. Place broccoli in bowl of cold water to stop cooking.

   Add pasta to still boiling water and cook until al dente, 10-12 minutes. Drain pasta thoroughly and return to pot. Add sauce, cooked broccoli, and mozzarella ovolini and gently combine. Serve immediately.
