Southwestern Bean Dip

   In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a bowl; add the onion. Mash with a fork until crumbly; set aside. In a blender or food processor, process the tomato sauce and beans until chunky. Add to beef mixture and mix well. Spoon 1/2 into a greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking dish. Top with 1/2 of the cheese. Repeat layers. Bake uncovered at 350u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Serve hot with chips.
