Southwest French Bread Pizza

   Drain black beans, but do not rinse.

   Pour black beans into a skillet on medium heat for 2 minutes.

   Add in your chili powder and stir.

   After 2 minutes, add in the can of diced green chilies.

   Continue to cook on medium heat for 2-3 more minutes while stirring.

   If it seems to dry, add in a tablespoon or two of water.

   Dice garlic and add it into the black bean and green chilies mixture.

    Keep on medium heat for another 2-3 minutes while stirring.

    Take the black bean mixture off the heat.

    Stir in your 1.5 cups of pico de gallo.

    You can use a store bought or make your own.

    Cut you French bread in half, then cut the halves into pieces about 6 inches long.

    Carve out a small area in the middle of each piece of bread.

    Then spoon the black bean mixture onto the bread.

    Cover bread completely with the mixture.

    Top pizzas with the shredded cheese.

    Put pizzas into broiler for about 2-3 minutes.

    Cook until the cheese is slightly brown, but try not to burn the bread.
