Sour Milk Loaf Cake

   Cream together the shortening and sugar.

   Add the eggs and vanilla.

   Sift together flour, salt, soda and nutmeg.

   Alternate with the sour milk.

   Mix well.

   Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

   Sprinkle the brown sugar on top of batter.
