Ingredients: 1/2 pound snow peas; 1/4 c. sliced water chestnuts; 1 tbsp. minced scallions; 1/2 clove garlic, chopped; 2 tbsp. vegetable oil; 1 tbsp. soy sauce; 1 teaspoon cornstarch; 1 teaspoon water; 1/2 c. chicken stock made with bouillon cube; 1 c. cooked pork, shrimp or possibly beef

1/2 pound snow peas
1/4 c. sliced water chestnuts
1 tbsp. minced scallions
1/2 clove garlic, chopped
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon water
1/2 c. chicken stock made with bouillon cube
1 c. cooked pork, shrimp or possibly beef

Remove the tips from the snow peas and remove the strings as well.

Heat oil in frying pan and saute/fry the scallions and garlic.

Add in the snow peas, sliced water chestnuts and soy sauce and cook for 1 minute.

Add in the chicken stock, cover the pan and cook for 2 more min.

Now mix the cornstarch with water and add in to the pan, stirring constantly till the sauce thickens, about 1 minute.

Cooked meat or possibly shrimp may be added here if you like.

Serve warm over rice.
