Smoked Sausage Stew With Orzo

   Quarter the long links of sausage then cut into about 1/4 in slices.

   Brown sausage lightly in a 4 quart pan or larger, browning enhances the flavor

   Add hot water.

   Add drained mixed vegetables.

   Add black pepper, ham soup base, MSG, and tomato sauce.

   Add Orzo.

   Cook 10 minutes over medium heat until Orzo is almost tender.

   Turn down to to a slow simmer for another 15 minutes.

   Stew will slowly thicken on it's own during the simmering process.
