Skyler'S Best Barbecue Sauce – a delicious recipe with brown sugar, ketchup, whiskey, red wine vinegar, water, Worcestershire sauce. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. ketchup
1 c. Jim Beam whiskey
1/2 c. red wine vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
2 1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 dashes hot pepper sauce

In a blender, combine brown sugar, ketchup, whiskey, vinegar, water and Worcestershire sauce. Season with liquid smoke, mustard, paprika, salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
