1
Take your stake and season it with your favorite rub & let sit till it gets to room temperature
2
While your steak is sitting out chop up your onion and mushrooms (I leave mushrooms whole)
3
Set your oven to the broil setting
4
Now take your skillet and heat it up on the stove and put some olive oil in the skillet
5
Place steak in the middle and veggies around the sides of your steak
6
You can dash the veggies with Worcestershire sauce
7
Sear the steak for 2 minutes on each side
8
Next place your skillet in the oven and broil the steak for 3-5 minutes on each side depending on thickness of steak & how done you like it (medium rare for me)
9
Voila your done!
10
However, if you want to go a little above and beyond take the steak and veggies out of the skillet and plate up
11
While skillet is still hot put on the stove heat up and with the oil and juices from the steak add a little red wine & mix it in with the grease and reduce..mix vigorously for a minute or two then pour on top of steak

Enjoy (Note picture above is another steak I cooked using same recipe as above)
