1/2 tsp. garlic
1 c. uncooked rice
1/2 lb. hamburger
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 3/4 c. hot water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. bacon bits
1/2 to 3/4 c. grated cheese

In large skillet, put onion, green pepper, garlic, rice and hamburger.

Stir over high heat until lightly browned.

Add the tomato sauce and remaining ingredients, except cheese.

Mix well and bring to a boil.
