Sheet Cake With Filling

   Mix flour, shortening, salt and baking powder like pie dough. Add egg and milk.

   Roll 1/2 dough between wax paper, the size of a cookie sheet.

   Invert on cookie sheet.

   Spread with favorite filling.

   Roll out other 1/2 of dough.

   Cut into strips to make lattice work.

   Place on top of filling.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 35 minutes or until golden brown.

   Cool.

    Cut into squares.
