Scrape both sides of pork chops with a knife to make sure any pieces of bone are removed.

Slice potatoes in thin rounds.

Spray a deep casserole dish, or butter.

Layer potatoes to cover bottom of dish. Cover potatoes with a sprinkle of flour, salt, and pepper. Layer with more potatoes and continue layering process to top of dish, leaving room to place chops on top. Pour in milk to the point that it barely covers the potatoes.

Season both sides of chops with salt and pepper and place on top of potato layers.

Dot top with butter.

Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hr and 45 minutes, then check potatoes for doneness. When they are done or close, cook uncovered for remaining 15 minutes at least, or until top is browned.
