1
In large frying pan, put 3 tablespoons olive oil.
-
2
Chop garlic and sautee for 1 minute.
-
3
Pull sausage meat out of casing into bite size pieces and place into frying pan. I prefer the taste of the sausage when it comes from the links over the loose type. The bite size pieces look better in the slice as well.
-
4
Sautee until pieces of sausage are browned. Drain fat off.
-
5
Roll out the pizza dough (works best when nice and cold) to a square shape about 15 inches both long and wide.
-
6
Spread tomato sauce all over the dough.
-
7
Place slices of provolone cheese all over.
-
8
Distribute the mozzarella cheese on top of the provolone.
-
9
Place drained sausage on top of all of the above, evenly distributed.
-
10
Roll sides in about 2 inches then roll the entire dough carefully making sure ingredients stay tucked in.
-
11
Place rolled dough into a roasting pan that has been lightly greased with olive oil or Pam.
-
12
Place a few slits in the top of the dough to let steam escape
-
13
Bake at 350 for approximately 35-40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. The crust will continue to brown after you take it out of the oven so don't let it get too dark.
