2. Put the Brussels sprouts on the baking sheet, drizzle with a tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Transfer to the oven and roast until tender, about 25 minutes.

3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil and bacon and cook, stirring frequently, until the bacon is well browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove the bacon, drain on paper towels and crumble or roughly chop.
