mix the brown sugar and all the spices together... mix well with a fork....

lay a half slab if ribs in the middle if a large piece of aluminum foil (heavy duty).

rub ribs with brown sugar mix.

cut up onion and lay on top of ribs.. wrap ribs in foil making foil pouches.

LEAVE ONE END OPEN AND POUR IN WATER OR ADD THE ICE CUBES.

place ribs in oven or on grill for 45 - 60 minutes.

put aluminium foil, dull side up, on the grill and puncture holes in foil ..

take ribs out of pouches and put on the grill and BBQ as u normally would.... BBQ for 30 - 35 minutes using the BBQ SAUCE.. turn rubs every 10 minutes....
