1/4 c. honey
1/2 c. plus 1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
2 c. All-Bran
3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

Pour boiling water over 1 cup of bran; add raisins, stir and set aside.

In large bowl cream sugar, honey and shortening.
