3 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water

Grease bottoms and sides of 3 (8-inch) cake pans and dust with flour.

Sift cake flour; measure it carefully and sift again with soda and salt.

Cream margarine in bowl until soft and airy.

Put chocolate in measuring cup and melt over boiling water.
