Pumpkin Spice Pecans

   Mix together sugar, pumpkin pie spice, orange peel and salt together in a bowl. Set aside.

   Beat egg whites on high speed until foamy. Gradually add sugar mix while beating until the mix makes soft peaks. Then, fold in butter and pecans.

   Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet that has been covered with foil or wax paper (THIS IS KEY THEY ARE MESSY LITTLE TREATS!)

   Bake at 250F for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

   Cool on pan.
