Play Dough

   Mix the flour, salt and cream of tartar.

   In a small saucepan, add the water, slowly stirring constantly to prevent lumps.

   Add the cooking oil.

   Add food color until you get desired color. Cook over medium heat; stir until mixture becomes very thick. Remove from heat; allow to cool.

   Knead.

   Store in covered container.
