2 lbs ground chuck
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 small garlic clove, crushed
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 (12 ounce) jar meatless spaghetti sauce
1 egg
12 lb shaved virginia ham
1 ½ cups grated mozzarella cheese
fresh mushrooms (or canned) (optional)
fresh spinach (chopped) (optional)

Using only 1 cup of spaghetti sauce, mix first 7 ingredients.

Spread out in rectangle on wax paper and place ham, then cheese on the meat mixture.
