1 pkg. onion flavor mix for meat
1/4 c. hot water
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. grnd beef
1 can (6 ounce.) tomato paste
2 teaspoon oregano
Garlic pwdr
1 loaf Italian bread sliced in half
1 lg. tomato, sliced
1 lg. green pepper, sliced thin
1 lg. onion, sliced thin
1 pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese (4 slices)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Saute/fry beef, onion mix and water till meat is brown.

Add in tomato paste, oregano and simmer 5 - 10 min.

Spread sliced bread with butter and garlic pwdr to taste, broil till golden.

Spread meat mix over each slice of bread.

Add layers, green peppers, onion, tomato and cheese.

Bake 10 to 15 min till cheese is melted.
