Picky-Poo’S Buttercream Frosting

   Cream butter and shortening together.

   Stir in water or milk (the milk will allow the frosting to crust up a little bit if you're using it to decorate a cake).

   Add vanilla (I like to add a little more because I love vanilla). Stir.

   Stir in powdered sugar a little at a time until you get the consistency that you like.

   Example: To just frost a cake you'll want it a little thin, but to decorate you'll want it thicker.
