6 slices crisp cooked bacon, crumbled

In a small saucepan cook onion and Anaheim pepper in hot butter about 10 minutes or until onion is tender.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine egg, bread crumbs, bacon, jalapeno pepper, and milk.

Add ground beef; mix well.

Shape meat mixture into four 3/4 inch thick patties.

Place patties on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals.

Grill for 14 to 18 minutes or until done, (160*F), turning once halfway through grilling.
