In a bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; combine this to the pureed peaches. Fold in the reserved peach pieces and nuts.

Pour mix into an 8 x 4 x 2-inch greased pan and bake in 350u00b0 oven for 1 hour.

Spread with peach preserves and cool in pan 10 minutes.
