1 c. bell pepper, chopped
1/2 c. onion, chopped

1 lb. hash brown potatoes, thawed
salt and pepper to taste
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 can tomato paste
1/2 can water
1/2 lb. sliced cheese

Cook hamburger and drain well.

Add peppers and onion, cook. Stir in all ingredients except cheese.

Spoon 1/2 of mixture in baking dish, top with 1/2 of cheese.
