1 onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
2 cups water
2 cups chicken broth
2 (15 ounce) cans great northern beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 cup elbow macaroni
1 cup fresh spinach
½ cup fresh parmesan cheese

Cook sausage in a 6 quart pot or dutch oven.

Add onion and cook on low until tender.

Bring to a boil and add macaroni, spinach, and cheese then simmer until pasta is tender.
