Using your fingers, incorporate the butter into the flour mixture and break into pea size pieces. Add in the orange zest, orange juice, yogurt and walnuts. Mix until just incorporated. The batter should be lumpy. Do not over mix!

2. Portion dough into 2 inch balls and slightly flatten the tops of each ball. Place on a baking sheet that you've lined with parchment paper. Whisk together the egg with 1 tablespoon water. Using a pastry brush, brush the tops of each scone with the egg wash. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until slightly golden. Cool completely on a cooling rack.

3. Whisk together the confectioner's sugar and 4 tablespoons orange juice. Drizzle this glaze over the scones.
