Orange Jell-O Salad

   Drain juices from the mandarin oranges.

   Add water to the juice to make 2 cups.

   Heat to boiling in a medium saucepan.

   Add Jell-O, dissolve completely, and turn heat to low.

   Add sherbet and continue stirring constantly, until melted and incorporated into the Jell-O.

   Mixture should be opaque.

   Carefully pour into a Jell-O mold, bundt pan, or large enough bowl sprayed with a bit of non-stick spray.

   Add drained oranges to the Jell-O mixuture.

   Cover and refrigerate until set, preferably overnight.

    ***NOTE- if you prefer the oranges to be distributed more throughout the salad, let the mixture chill a bit before adding the oranges.
