Old Fashioned Mustard Bath

   In a small bowl, add the mustard powder and baking soda.

   Mix well and store in a covered container.

   You can add a few drops of some essential oils if desired.

   Draw a hot bath.

   Make it as hot as you can stand.

   Add 4 tablespoons of the mustard bath and let completely dissolve.

   Immerse yourself in the bath for 20 minutes.

   Notes: * The baking soda does not provide any therapeutic benefit from what I can tell.

   It's sole purpose is to balance the ph of the bath water.

    Without it, the mustard would irritate or even blister your skin.

    **While I have broke low grade fevers with this mustard bath, I would never use it for a high temp fever.
