Old Fashioned Blackberry Jam

   Measure blackberries that have been cleaned and washed.

   Crush well and add an equal amount of sugar in a large kettle.

   Mix well.

   Bring to a quick boil and cook rapidly, stirring often. Cook until large bubbles appear.

   Ladle into jars and seal.
