Old Fashion Cucumber Salad

   Peel cucumbers, but leave some narrow strips for color. Slice cucumbers very thin and place in a large bowl.

   Sprinkle with a small amount of salt (will flavor through better if added after slicing each cucumber).

   Stir well.

   Let sit for about 15 minutes and liquid will form.

   Drain liquid and gently squeeze from cucumber slices.

   Place in bowl with onion.

   Mix with dill weed, sour cream, vinegar and pepper.

   Refrigerate until well chilled.

   Stir and add salt and pepper, if needed.
