Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a large bowl using a mixer, beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add flour and baking soda, and mix to combine. Then use a rubber spatula to fold in the oats, cinnamon chips and raisins.

Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until slightly browned. Do not overbake! Remove the pan from the oven. Allow cookies to cool on the pan for 1 minute then move them to a cooling rack. Store in airtight containers.
