1 c. oatmeal
1 stick oleo
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Pour boiling water over oatmeal.

Let stand for 10 minutes. Add oleo and stir to melt.

Stir in sugar, brown sugar and eggs. Beat to blend.

Add flour, soda, cocoa, salt and 1/2 of chocolate chips.

Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

Sprinkle rest of chips on the top and 2 to 3 tablespoons of sugar.
