1 small onion
1 (10 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked
1 small can black olives
1/2 lb. grated American cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can milk
1 can chow mein noodles
1/4 lb. mixed salted nuts, chopped
1 large can mushroom slices

Brown ground beef and onion.

Alternate layers of noodles, beef mixture, olives and cheese and large can of mushrooms. Repeat layers, ending with beef mixture.

Pour mushroom soup (diluted with milk or water) over casserole.

Cover and bake at 350u00b0 for 30 minutes.

Sprinkle chow mein noodles and nuts over mixture.
